That is true on every plan including Free: the model runs on our key, and the proxy is what keeps that key ours rather than shipping it inside the app. The draft is not logged and not stored. What the proxy keeps is a count: how many rewrites this install has used this month.

Yes, and you can read exactly what it learned. It builds a profile of how you write from your own drafts: your vocabulary, your sentence length, your spelling, the greeting you always use. The drafts sit in a file on your Mac, capped at sixty and emptied each time the profile is rebuilt. Rebuilding needs a model, so that batch is sent to be summarised into the profile; it is not kept, and only the profile comes back. The profile is shown to you as the same words it sends to the model, not a summary of them, and one button deletes all of it. You can also switch the whole thing off. It is not editable by hand, deliberately: to steer it, press tab after a rewrite and say what you wanted instead, and it learns from that.

A page of your own rules that gets folded into every rewrite the team makes, on Pro and above. For image and video prompts that is art direction: palette, lens, grade, the things you never want and the aspect ratios you ship at. For messages and docs it is the writing standards you already argue about in review. Written once, applied by everyone, without anybody having to remember it.
